Fungal fluorescence stain

The fungal fluorescence stain is a complex solution containing luciferin and a coloration reagent that inhibits background fluorescence. If the sample to be tested contains fungi, the fluorescence staining solution has a strong affinity with the chitin and cellulose of the cell wall of the fungus. Under the ultraviolet light (wavelength: 340 nm to 380 nm), a bright blue fluorescence is emitted. Thus morphology was observed by a fluorescence microscope, whereby qualitative detection of fungi.
